I would never put a Goodyear F1 on my car after seeing that. Total crap IMO. I have actually had Colway remoulds withstand 10x the abuse the F1's seen ( which had less than 500 miles on them !!!! )
That said, plenty do seem to offer good reports about the Goodyears....
I wont be throwing my money away on them though !
To be fair F1s aren't drifting tyres.
The T1-R's feel better IMO, in both wet and dry road conditions, than my previous Michelins.
Whilst I may be into drag racing, its very difficult to actually get to a track, without driving a few hundred miles
My car does get used....perhaps not on a race track, but it does get used on the road quite often.
Id defo agree F1's arent for drifting ( although I did say diffing in this instance....little odds either way )
No way would I put a tyre on my car that I know is going to fly apart as soon as it breaks traction....
And to mention Colway remoulds. Years ago I tried a pair of their 245/45x16 on the rear of an older Granada I had. They were surprisingly good !! and under half the price of a normal tyre.
