NO wear should have occured on the valves or they should be replaced anyway as made of HIGH TENSILE STEEL, with SODIUM in the exhaust valves due to heat, a very soft metal with a low melting point of 98C, that flows back and forth as valve rises and falls thus cooling it, though you most likely know this anyway.
Keeping the valves in order is a bit old hat with the modern materials, certainly on this engine, as the valves guides are a MATCHED material spec for lubricity reasons.
The guides should not have neede replacing at 46,000 miles anyway, unless not been looked after.
