bmw 328 convertible 1997


cars been in storage for a year took it out and gave it a days run

well the car drinks fuel computer says 14mpg, it failed emmissions for mot the co was kinda ok but hydros were out, it did have a slight missfire holding the revs mot man thought that it was the miss causing the hydros to rocket as unbunrnt fuel etc, his opinion was not the lamdas or cat

compression test was fine


gonna change all the coil packs etc tomorrow to try eliminate the missfire so ill start there maybe it will cure it but im not sure


the car fookin stinks, its not a eggy cat smell neither is it a oil or a fuel smell its a real toxic type smell stings your eyes type thing just wondering if it would jog anyones memories on prev problems?

naturally if i cure the slight miss and i mean its slight and the things still not right ill have to change the lamdas, thes spose last but least the cats .... this could be pricey

hoping for some helpfull advice here as a pair of lamdas are about £170 from euro car parts lol
the fookin thing also has 2 cats


the car does drive ok kicks down ok still gos well idles ok, but you can notice a slight miss if your looking for it
