You may want to buy "ENGINE MANAGEMENT", by DAVE WALKER, who also does his own brand ECU and mapping.
He writes in the mag PPC, and is a god of all things tuning wise, as well as a great bloke and a 100% no bull artist.
He business partner KARL is the elctronic techy man, who desiged the ECU.

Thanks for a quick responce. Sound like an interesting read. I'll have a look for that.
I'm going to get myself the Innovate LM1 this should hopefully keep it meltdown free for a while.
I'l post progress when things start coming together.
