Sorry i'l add a little more info.

I'm supercharging (low boost) a n/a engine.

I'm going to add extra fuel but can't retard the timing with no map sensor or no management to support it.

If the fueling is right will the standard igntion map be ok just relying on the knock sensor to retard the timing.

It's a cheap engine. (costs less than management) so not too worried about meltdown.
Its also a second car so i dont rely on it.
