ok, now the niceties have been dealt with, football is always going to have the hooligan element, you will never get rid of it until you start punishing the clubs
you get crowd trouble inthe stadium, regardless of who's supporterers they are, you play your next 3 matches behind closed doors, be they home or away

that'll soon get the clubs intrested in sorting the problem out once they start losing shed loads of cash (gate recipts and telivision rights) and supporters because who's going to support a club that you can't watch?

it's a game at the end of the day and having a jokey type "fued" with an opposing team is all well and good because, at the end of the day, you'll both go home and and forget about it, you'll not forget a kick in the bollocks from an opposing supporter as easily will you....................
