Ive just been to my garage to start my car up and found to my horror that the oil pressure light was staying on. Ive climbed underneath and taken the oil feed pipe off, but theres no oil being pumped when the engine is running. The car has been stood for 6 months and was ok the last time I used it. Does anyone know if it is possible for the pump to run dry? Has anyone has this problem before and know how to correct it???
