usually slow punctures are caused by the inner part of the valve becoming loose.

First point of call is to tighten the inner part of the valve (the wee pin bit that u push to let the air out) if not, try the other methods.

Last time i had a slow puncture it worked perfectly. Saved me loads of time and effort
