Was your Piper cam measured afterwards to see if it was worn?

And did you/ava change anything at the same time?

I believe the rev issues on Kent and Pipers are due to too soft springs, causing valve bounce, (mine wouldn't rev past 6300 on the 36 cam, but would rev to 7000rpm on a different spec engine with a 35 cam kit)
And fitting double springs on hydrolic setup causes even worse wear.
it was not measured and was practically new,had done about 200 miles pl;us the 1k running in miles, there was a slight bent valve problem which meant the head had to come off and was offered to guinea pig the newman cam as ava were just testing them out at the time,im sure there was a fuel mod done along with the cam being fitted as id ran out of fuel at 195@wheels
