I thought 14psi was about the limit of a standard I/C, anything above that and the ACT's will just go through the roof?

Upgrade the I/C and you can turn the boost up further then, your next limiting factor is your pistons I suppose.

More boost = more stress on components, and the standard internals can only take so much.
