Irrespective of whether you won a car on Ebay or not, would YOU pay for something if you didn't know what it sounded like ? No, neither would I......so why expect someone else to ? The fella never said he wasn't going to pay, he just asked to hear the engine before handing over his hard earned. Not an unreasonable request. If it were me I'd have done exactly the same as the other chap and swallowed the negative feedback.
