A competent mechanic can put an engine together, that dont make him have the first clue about good tuning methods.
He recently thought his M3 (non evo) would have 380bhp or something equally pathetic just cause it had a cat back exhaust and a remap on it FFS.
Its amazing how many people cant see the difference between knowing what bits to fit cause someone told you to then knowing how to fit them cause you have practiced doing so, and the massively different set of skills of genuinely understanding the science of whats going on when you actually do those things.
