Is the standard series 1 / 2 engine a 85mm bore?, because that is what I see the piston size specified for the focus piston from america.
So would it be pointless me buying a block that has been bored out to 86mm as the pistons would be too small ?
Also, as I say, the block I was looking at has accralite pistons, and these would not work with the american rods from what people say here due to the small end of the rod being 19mm from ameerica and the accralite pistons would be 20mm, Presumablly standard rods would fit the accralite pistons?

you can use that combo in either the black or sliver top engine the standard 2.0 bore is 84.?mm so a slight bore and hone for those pistons.
ian howell can sell you a set of pistons that will work with the eagle rods and 86mm bore block
. i dont think the accralite pistons are any good with the eagle rods.. how much power are you after? really i cant see the point running standard Components when you can buy decent rods and pistons so cheap
