i know my alternator has caught twice on my water pipes from the blades of the alternator and cut through. I'm now going to get a different belt (which i need to find that out) to bring the alternator back away from the pipes. simple as that. so i have been told
I had the same problem my alternator cut through my nice new samco i had on tha car about 3 days
I got a smaller belt and it's pulled the alternator right back now (it sits back about 2-3 inches now
)
