The point was brought home to me recently when i was working on a car i dont often modify and visited one of its native forums to find out what plug they tend to use when running over 350bhp.
Bugger me if i found 3 different heat ranges, all guaranteed to work perfectly.
It annoyed me that not one of them seemes to have any possibility of being clued up, so in teh end i just took pot luck and tried a set i thought would be fine. Guess what... it WASNT one of teh ones mentioned on teh forum!!
And it WAS right.
the simple fact is though, had a well known tuner of that marque given an answer in his own name, id have likely started there with some peace of mind... Which is why i think this idea will work.
