The JE pistons are an 85mm bore from what I can see, and the block that I was looking at had been bored out to 86mm so I guess they would not fit. Looks as though I may have to give the block I was looking at a miss

Also, it says the compression ratio for the JE pistons in 9.0:1, isnt this a bit high?, I would expect about 7.6:1 or something
