well why shouldnt the car manufacturers be pushing to make engines more fuel efficient with their profits? and maybe the government could contribute some of their stealings for this?
It will effect all the off roaders, and some other cars.
In reality for day to day family transport there is no need for anyone to have anything heavier or bigger engined than a focus 1.6 realistically, anything more than that is a luxury in most cases.
i cant really disagree with that but why cant people be free to chose any car they like?
they do everywhere else in the world a friend of mine has just moved to america and went straight out and bought a 4.0ltr.
what ever happened to freedom of choice? must i have some corrupt jumped up politicians telling me i must drive a small car?
maybe when they sort the fucking shambles of the rest of the country out first then they can talk about cars!
public transport is shit out of major cities
the forces are overstretched from cuts and out of area commitments
the nhs is struggling
tax is hitting people hard
house prices are through the roof
the police wont catch anyone unless it involves getting some extra money for the xmas piss up fund.
including not going to my wifes work when she was getting threatened by bottle wealding drunks and junkies. (thats swindon for ya fudgeass)
oh well get someone there later when theres not someone going 74 on the m4
fucking fire service have had their fair share of strikes moaning at 30k when servicemen and women have to cover their strikes with no complaint and some are on 12k
