I know im not a ford owner but I have been looking on this site for some time now and Im really impressed. Some Quality cars on here, and I especially like the restoration section.
Billycabrio, Your car is a credit to you mate, I've seen the restoration photos and a lot of hard work has gone into it.
The colour coded arches are factory finish, I think it must have been an optional extra that came with the extra thick rust proofing that this car has.
The rust proofing on the underside of this car is magic. I helped my mate clean up the arches, and the whole underneath of the car is painted in the rust-proofing and then finished in red over the top. All of the underside of the car cleans up like the arches.
