It exploded into many pieces, didn't just break at a point

Think the reason mine broke is due to them saying to cut it to a point - my dad didn't like this and said it would be weak and may crack. He wanted to either drill a hole before where it's cut to or what we did in the end was cut it at a thicker stronger section of the quadrant

I kept the bits so if it happens again, can see where it's failing. Will put a pic up when i get chance
