rob, i know i can cut it and splice it, and this is probably what i'll do as a TEMPORARY MEASURE

now i've got a car thats nice, i want to do everything PROPERLY, so i think replacing the whole loom is the best choice... also i dont know how many other bits of dodgy wiring are hiding behind there... the MAF and DLC are the only bits ive found sofar... probably more there somewhere! lol
