Also, I certainly wouldn't put a 205 block in a high powered 4x4, as it is the transmission loadings that was the main reason the 4x4s received a strengthened block, so I wouldn't expect a big power 205 blocked 4x4 car to last very long if used aggressively.
Knowing how Si drives, I certainly wouldn't do it if I was him, as I am VERY hard on engines as well

Unless my linered 200 block dies at 500 ish bhp level, I won't be going back to my 205 block Mike for the reason you mentioned...
If it can break I will break it! Therefore a liner in the 200 block seemed my best option when I melted it last October, rather than use my 205 block. Now money is tight though, I would be tempted to reuse my 205 block if I had to.
