Have you checked it for play in the shaft???
There won't always be play in the shaft, if there is its a DEFO fucked, but its very possible to wear the oil seals without having play in the shaft

i was just asking if he did check it for play before he put it on as it was second hand and thats the first thing i would have done as soon as i got it out the box
