they say you should have the front pulley, the crank, the flywheel and the clutch assembly balanced all together as a rotating unit
you can then balance the rods and pistons seperatly
i can't see the pulleys affecting the crank any more than the force of the rods going up and down at 50 mph every nanosecond can you
