if you were thinking of using a T51, it would only be useful for drag racing or top speed runs... its THAT laggy! You'd have to use NOS with it like the Escort Cossie above does...

My mechanic runs a turbo similar to a GT42 on a nissan 2.0L engine and he ran a 10.4 second 1/4 mile on its very FIRST night of racing! (a few days after he ran 10.01 @ 149 MPH)... plans to hook up the NOS next..
