by "these dogs" i mean all these types of viscous animals not any specific one. are you saying staffies are ok because they only maul the same amount of children as alsatians? if your happy risking your childrens face just to prove a point then good on you. im not.
Dogs are not by nature viscious towards humans. They can be trained to be & thus be used as Police/guard dogs, which is where Alsations etc come in & Staffies don't as they are too small to be effective for such tasks.
You wanna talk Pit Bulls, different story. To the extent that the pit complex at Spa the last tim ethey had a GP there was guarded against post-race invasion by Pit Bulls.
& I'm sure there are Pit Bull owners out there who don't brutalise their pets & whose children are still all in 1 piece.
Fact of the matter is that if you brutalise any dog it may bite you. The bigger the dog, the harder the bite.
It is foolish then to describe 1 particular breed of dog as inherently dangerous.
Especially if you are confusing them with something else.
