Ive been doing my first bits of bodywork ever...hmm! lol.

Mixed results.

Had to do some work on a Mini, never done anything like it before.

Had to do some filling, used P38 Isopon, but it seemed very thick, and when running the scraper tool over the top of it to apply it flat, it dragged it all back up So had to leave it piled right up and spend an eternity sanding it down. Are there any better, and much thinner fillers about?

Also, when I sprayed it, I used filler primer, then Zinc primer (grey, as the paint needed a grey primer), then a few coats of metalic paint, all looked OK at this stage, but when I applied the laquer, it looked SHIT.

Not sure if I was supposed to flat the metalic down before spraying the laquer? (I did).

Paint/primers were only Halfords rattle cans, so may expalin a few things.

Anyone got any advice on that? Hopefully ill be able to do a few more bits soon and build up some experiance.
