Going by your question I assume you have children? It's true ANY dog can bite but considering you have kids, why go for a dog that has the potential to damage your kids more than most other dogs?

Yes any dog can turn but most if that does happens a staff could kill (as they have), maybe get something less potentially dangerous if your kids are young especially.

I agree alot of it is to do with owners, but dogs AREN'T robots and even the best nutured dog could turn, we don't know what goes on in a dogs head.

ps and in anticipation of the backlash, yes i think they're typically owned by chavs, in fact i most of the idiots i know select these dogs as 'pets' including the local drug dealers
