Why would torque limiter removal be pointless, traction is not an issue in the dry on a decent surface.
You should notice a big improvement with the decat mate

My comment about the torque limiter....mine is absolutely useless in the wet/damp in 3rd, and spins the wheels in 4th sometimes, never mind 1st and 2nd.

Even in the dry it has really bad torque steer on anything but a glass like surface, it's bloody dangerous TBH as the diff doesn't seem to react like I expect it too works extremely well on track, but flooring it out of a rough roundabout (which most of the UK's are) is a different matter. Saying that, when you get it right, the speed it can exit a corner is hellish...
