It just sends a signal to the fuel/trip computer so it can work out your MPG, not needed if you dont fit the computer! (that annoying thing that always beeps when your low on fuel!)

Mate.......you are SO WRONG. THe fuel computer requires the signal, but you look at an EFI car without a fuel computer......it has a speed sensor.
