Took the focus for it's MOT today, I was worried that it would struggle to pass the emissions as i've fitted one of Fins Sport Cats, it's not the cat that I was worried about but the location, the only place I could mount it was quite a way back from the Manifold and the lamda sensor (just after where the main system bolts to the secondary flexi pipe). the problem being it takes quite a while for the Cat to heat up.

And as I suspected it failed first time, but to be fair to the tester he said he always tests the emissions as soon as he pulls the car in, he let it run for 10 mins and tested it again and it passed with flying colours, had the cat been closer to the manifold he said it would have passed straght away!!


If anyone is running Cats i'd deffo recomend these Sport Cats i've noticed no drop in power from not having one fitted to running it.
