No mate, nowhere in the testers manual does it say that the vehicle has to have a bonnet fitted and if not fitted this is not a reason for rejection ( failure )

so in that repsect it it legal to drive a car on the road without a bonnet?
Driving on the road without a bonnet might be a different kettle of fish but i know its not a requirement for the mot.
There are some strange rulings when it comes to the mot on certain matters, like you dont need to pass a cat test if there is only a drivers seat fitted !! It only needs to be below 3.5% CO !!
