Yes, use the loom from a mk3 Fiesta 1.6S or mk5 Escort 1.6 carb. I've got a feeling you'll need the carb as well unless you can pick the vacuum pipe up from the one you have with the engine.

What are you going to do about fuel tank though if you're putting it in an XR2i won't it be electronic fuel pump up to a manual pump on the CVH you have?
