You could have a 54 registered in 05 though, if it was registered between 1st Jan and 1st March
It's an 05 car with an older 04 reg on it (for some strange reason).
That's O.K the reg is older than the car.
On another forum the seller has confirmed that the shell is a "new" imperial blue shell.
