The RS1600i rollbar is said to be the better one, being used on the Motorsport car. The roll bar itself is thicker and supposed to be the best for handling, the tie bars mount up with rubber bushes (as opposed to the jointed tie bars on a S1) and the RSi item has a cast alloy cross member which is quite a bit lighter then the heavy cast steel s1 item
