well... as an update!

5 months down the line i'm still waiting to get the car sorted!

The woman took 3 months to report it... and now her insurance are trying to settle for 50/50... so her insurance will give me 50% of the repair cost...

An estimator came round today and has given me a repair cost of £500-£600, he said that no parts actually need replacing and he is basing it on £25-£28 per hour labour charge instead of £32 which most garages charge!

So now i'm just waiting on the accurate estimate and then working out whether to settle and find the remaining money or to keep battling it out!

Might see where i stand legally at disputing the estimate as i have 3 garage quotes which are all £800+....
