yes m8, to light it with the lighting circuit do as you have said
I did this mod to my own 4x4 cossie but havent got round to doing it to my esc cos yet, the wiring colours may differ model to model, but just count the pins and it will be fine. don't use the pin numbers on the switch (look in the housing where the pins are) as they are wrong compared the way I have showed earlier.
