Being in the RAF.. I had some distinct advantages when it came to grabbing the chance of a picture of my Harrier alongside the RAF counterpart.....

My car was mid-way through the rebuild when it was put on display at our RAF base's Open Day to depict what our little Motorclub had to offer in facilities (enabled me to rent a space to rebuild in comfort etc) So it was put back on it's wheels for the day, dragged onto the display stand minus engine etc, and then dragged out for a shot when this Harrier jet was parked up for the night alongside our hangar...
I only wish I had been given the same chance once it was back on the road... would have made for an even better pic....
