rswoza - do you mean the cores themselves are narrower? The one on my XR3i is about an inch and a half thick - is the S1 thinner than that then?

I was planning to have it recored - that one does look in a sorry state. I'm just trying to check that it is the right one. It seems to have the mounting holes at the bottom for the Kenlowe though so does that mean it is?
