Looks pretty good, but then so does the AVC-R and that was pants on mine. I would only go for a controller that is proven. The SBC-ID does EXACTLY what is required of it. Controls boost, thats where others have failed IMO.
Why do You say that the Apexi is not as good as the others?
I did read a test a while back and the Apexi came out better than the ones you regard as better because it has some options the others dont have?

The AVC-R is very pretty and has some nice toys, but we couldn't get a stable boost figure from it. The SBC-ID is simple. Set the boost figure and it makes it and holds it. It doesn't look too bad either.
Fair enough, kinda like the Blitz item myself. The HKS unit did not impress anyone in the test though.... But people use them aswell... so it's kinda difficult to choose..
