Theory £22 IIRC - I found it easy, but had a mate who failed it twice

I did 3 days full lessons including bike and test on 4th day - cost £350.

As for a first bike, do what i did, set your eye on one, do a bit of homework, take it for a test and if you like it buy it. I,m more than happy
