There's just one thing about my Escorts I dislike: The dreaded tinworm!!!
Had a closer look at my cars today. There's some serious work to do. And the bad thing is: I can't do any welding/painting myself so it's gonna be expensive.
On my red one there's some serious rust at
- rear wheel arches (beneath the plastic)
- right hand side rear chassis rail
- front seat mounting points
On my mercury grey one:
- right hand side rear chassis rail (same as on the red one)
- sills (around the rear jacking point)
I'll try to post up some pics tomorrow.
Am I the only one who's RST is rotting away and do you all have minters or do we all fight the same battle?
I'd rather have a blown engine and a decent rot-free shell...
