I live in the South-east and so i can prepare for the on coming on slaught of 1cm of the white stuff i.e. wellies, shovel, grit, thermos flask, mobile phone, map, compass, snow chains, spare fuel, fire lighters, etc.....

Initially the snow will fall across Southwest England and Wales before spreading to the Midlands, Southeast England and East Anglia and Northern Ireland.
