ok then,that points to the matrix itself probably being fine...

first thing i'd do is whip off the thermostat housing and check it's in good condition and fit a new thermostat.

whilst this is off you can check the exhaust side pipe for damage/blockage

from memory the other pipe goes to the oil filter modine,again just check it's condition.

the thermostat would be the cheapest thing to try first!
