I had one of these Sierra pulleys turned down and could not make it go on my car. It would not fit no matter what we tried - I seemed to have less clearance between the alternator pulley and chassis for some reason.

In the end I used a £20 36-1 trigger wheel and retained the original pulley and alternator. It's a bonus because it is much lighter and I can still change the belts without dropping the engine down.
