I love seeing cars spit out the odd flame or two (my dad's Westfield for example
) but don't want a chavy flamer kit.
Obviously its when they overfuel but it is only a certain spec / set-up that causes this?
i was always under the impression that performance turbo'd engines also pop and bang when you hit the limiter and iirc some limiters cut the spark rather than fuel so unburnt fuel ends up going through the exhaust and igniting on the hot pipe
