It reality on a car battery - jack shit

We (Chloride / Exide) sample the water of all new sites (Tesco / Asda) etc when doing a new install. Not all sites need deionisers as the stuff from the tap can be OK depending on area.

I think it only realy comes into play when warranty issues arise due to early batterey failiure i.e. less than three years. If you are allready topping a car battery up it must be well into that time period and probably not worth worrrying about long term effects
