I seriously looked into this conversion for my previous sierra (non cosworth) with a company called Top Boss performance. Forgotten contact details but i know the basic conversion was around £2500 to £3000. For around £10,000 i read that around 450bhp and the same amount of torque was available. After further research i found that cars fitted with the standard v6 weren't that fast, 0-60 about 8 sec, and top speed didn't seem impressive either.

The only car fitted with this engine that seriously interested me was the car that belonged to the owner of top boss, Fitz Pinnock. It was a RS500 shell with 450bhp spec engine. I don't know any times for this car though as the only time it was tested on a track in a mag it had problems with the rear diff. i lost interest in the end and got a 4x4 saph cossie. Still interested by the enigne though.

One thing though, Burton Power didn't have many good things to say about the engine though when i rang them, whereas Fitz was singing about it when i rang top boss, but he was trying to sell me the conversion though.
