Sounds like a good option to me. If it was me though, id see it as a perfect opportuinity (and an excuse) to upgrade to a big AP brake kit.
He has standard wheels though, and might be one of those bufties that wants to keep them .

Is it really that obvious?

I don't mind the sort like Paul who STILL uses the car in the way it was intended to be used (thrapped within an inch of it's life ), but those that wrap a car in cotton wool, don't use it, trailer it everywhere and treat it like an ornament etc, should have the car removed from them and given an old MG or such like .
