Hi Dave,
I tried swapping out the ecu with a known good one but still had the same problem. there have been issues with the Bosch immobiliser fitted to the MK1 where broken solder joints caused the same problems. Unfortunately Ford in their wisdom seem to have moved it on the Mk2 Mondeo, but where to ???.
