found a crack on the elbow of the metal water feed pipe for the turbo..

i thought instead of buying a new pipe.. id hacksaw the pipe at the crack and rejoin it using some samco silicone hose i have of the same size.

my question is...will the silicone hose withstand the temperature the turbo will produce?
